TheSource has by far the least helpful and rudest in-store staff in Toronto (3 stores). The online side gives comflicting information from the stores. Regional customer service is no better. I have never been treated so bad as a shopper. THE WORST service.

i purchased a set of speaker for my pc online and wanted them to ship it to nearest store (which save me shipping). i received their email on 19 march 2009 between 5:00 p.m to 6:00 p.m, which stated that i can pick my delivery in 90 minute. i went to store on 21march 2009 after two and asked for my delivery, store people was not know about this. when i showed them email, they told me they are not responsible for that. i asked them to check from their head office/IT center, they refused to check it. they were very rude and not willing to help.the store is located at Carrefour Angrignon

from that day onward i am giving them email regarding this, i always get automatic reply but no solution of my problem. there is no customer care and very unfriendly staff.

My brother ordered the Toshiba L300 as soon as the sale started online on Boxing Day. Having been charged but having heard nothing about the order, we contacted them after one week. They assured me that the order was fine and that it would probably be shipped before the end of that week. We contacted them a second time when the charges on the credit card had been reversed. They said it was the credit card company who had done that, not The Source. The order was batched (ready to be shipped) and would probably be shipped within one or two days. After not getting a shipping notice, we contacted them a third time. This time we got a very different answer, notifying us that all orders from Boxing Day would not ship until the week of January 5. This was the first we had heard about this, although he said that this information was prominently displayed on the website. Fine, we'd wait until then. Just today we were notified that the computer was not available, and that they didn't have the stock to cover the orders placed. They were apparently having some sort of meeting to determine what they could substitute for it. My brother called them back to cancel the order, when he was told by the CSR that the order had already been shipped. He explained what had happened, but she insisted that the order was totally fine. He made her double-check and, sure enough it was a "system error" that was causing these faulty reports. Whatever. She said they'd call him tomorrow to notify him what they were substituting. I'm willing to bet it's going to be some sort of Acer model... in any case, we will be refusing the substitute if it's not as good as the original. This has been so far a nightmare, and neither of us will deal with this company in the future.
Judging by other reviews here, their Boxing Day "Sales" are to be avoided.

I have ordered GPS from this retailer. Shipment arrived 10 days later. I have printed return exchange policy just in case as it was first time I ordered stuff from them.
Item arrived with all kinds off issues, went to the store and was not able to finish my explanation of the situation as I was interrupted by the store’s person and told that I have to go to the manufacturer for warranty. I was about to ask how about you take it and deal with it was told that 10% restocking fee will apply as per new policy. No conversation possible to clarify the possibility to apply previous policy. I explained that the order was made before the new policy was released.
I find it extremely poor customer relations given the consumer confidence at this date.

As posted on RFD, this was a hot deal! Bought a Canon all-in-one printer with USB ($15) + paper ($5). All for only $29.99 plus taxes and shipping, came to about $38.
The printer works fine and product arrived right on time.

purchased an Olevia 747 for $1000. Most likely a price mistake but TSCC still went through with it. Only problem was delivery; one single guy to deliver, if I wasn't there he would have probably damaged the tv trying to bring it in. He was only willing to leave it in the main floor hallway too :(

The source by circuit city is a store with pride and joy. The sales assoiciate is well trained and litirate enough to the products that they are selling. This company offers a totaly satisfaction for the costumer

Ordered a set of cheap GameCube extension cables, arrived about 3 days later. I used the free ship to store option. I would defiantly order from there again. Without having to request it, TheSourceCC.com gave a tracking number. The order came in a heavy shipping box, with two air pillows to protect the cables. (These cables were only $1.99 each).
